UAE Tax Residency Certificate

Tax Residency Certificate or Tax Domicile Certificate is an official certificate which is issued by Ministry of Finance UAE to either Companies inside UAE for at least 1 year of age or Individual with UAE residency visa in the UAE & stayed 180 days.

This Official Certificate is used to get fully advantages of the extensive double tax treaties and to take advantage of double taxation avoidance agreements signed by the UAE with over 76 Countries in the World and this certificate valid for one year from the date of its issue.

Documents Required For UAE Tax Residency Certificate (Individual):

  •   Passport Copy
  •   UAE Residence Visa Copy
  •   Emirates ID Copy
  •   A certified copy of (residential) lease agreement or Tenancy Contract Copy
  •   Latest Salary certificate / Company owner ship documents
  •   Latest 6month bank statement stamped by bank
  •   Immigration report from General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs specifying the     180 days of stayed in the UAE.

Documents Required For UAE Tax Residency Certificate (Companies):

  • The company Organization structure chart
  • Memorandum of Association
  • Trade license
  • Certified copy of the audited financial accounts
  • Owners or directors of the company passports/IDs
  • Owners or director’s valid UAE resident visa
  • Copy of the company’s Certificate of Incumbency
  • Company lease agreement in the UAE or tenancy contract tax forms
  • Valid UAE Trade License

Processing Time:

  •   3-4 working days for Pre-approval processing.
  •   1-2working days for the issuance of UAE TAX Residency Certificate once it is approved.
